Care & Use

PIONEER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

In the interests of safety and hygiene, please ensure that your Pioneer flask is cleaned with warm water and washing-up liquid prior to initial use.

Tip: To get the best results using your Pioneer flask, pre-fill before use for about 3 minutes. Do this using either hot water for hot drinks, or cold water for chilled drinks.

STAINLESS STEEL DRINKS PODS AND FOOD PODS

We advise:

  • Never use a microwave or conventional oven to pre-heat your flask. Always use water as mentioned in the method above.
  • DO NOT overfill your flask. Always leave a sufficient amount of space in the neck to fit the stopper.
  • Once the flask is filled, always ensure that both the outside cup and stopper are tightly closed.
  • If you haven’t used your flask for a while, rinse it with warm water to clean away any residual odours.
  • DO NOT put your flask in a dishwasher.
  • To clean your flask, use warm water and washing-up liquid after use. Rinse thoroughly with hot water. DO NOT immerse in water. Dry thoroughly after washing and leave to drain.
  • To remove difficult stains, fill your flask with hot water. Add one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and leave the lid off. Soak your flask overnight, then rinse before re-use.

CAUTION
Avoid abrasives, solvents and bleach products.

DO NOT store dry ice or fizzy drinks, as they may cause the stopper to eject forcefully.

These products MUST NOT be used for keeping milk products or baby food warm or cool. Following this instruction will avoid the possibility of bacterial growth.
